Queensferry and Dalmeny Guild

“Whose we are and Whom we serve”

The aim of the Guild is to invite and encourage women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

Strategy 2021 – 2024: Look Forward in Faith Theme 2021: Lights and Bushels

With over 20,000 members, the Guild is one of the largest organisations in Scotland and has a rich history of service to others. Founded in 1887 the Church of Scotland Guild has focussed on serving our church, our communities and our world. It has always been a forward- thinking organisation and in the last three year cycle of projects, over £550,000 has been raised for projects national and international. These projects are challenging, sometimes controversial, but always worthwhile. This year we have presentations from two of the current projects – Home for Good, to inspire families to consider fostering or adoption and to encourage churches to support such families and Starchild, to raise money to build a facility in Uganda where children with a range of disabilities, especially autism, can learn alongside their peers.

Queensferry Parish Church has an active and friendly Guild. We meet twice per month in the St Andrew Hall and would like to think we offer a varied and interesting programme – see below. We would greatly value new members – and yes, gentlemen, the Guild is also for you now too! For further information, or if you would need transport to access the Guild please contact
