Universally Challenged Monday 29th April at 8 pm: All are welcome to attend the Guild's " Universally Challenged" quiz, a clash of Queensferry and Dalmeny's intellectual Titans. The teams battling it out with each other will be from the Kirk Session, Dalmeny Kirk, the Guild, and a Bob Gemmell "select" team, and our quiz master for the evening will be Keith Bowden. There will be wine and nibbles to follow. This event will be preceded by the Guild's Annual Review at 7.30 pm.

Exploring the God Question
In six half hour episodes, world renowned contributors from both sides of the science/God debate unpack the evidence found in the Cosmos, Life and Evolution and the hidden depths of Mind and Consciousness.
A small group from Queensferry Parish Church piloted the use of the DVD and study guide material last Spring. They found it to be an excellent stimulant of discussion both for Christians and non-Christians (we had both categories within the pilot ...group). They are about to run another series under the auspices of QPC.
So this message is simply to say that if you happen to know of anyone who might be interested in finding out more, please offer them this website link.
Regular Notices Posted on 29 Oct 2015
Notification of intimations should be with the church office by the Thursday prior to the Sunday Service. Either drop by any morning between 10 and 12 noon (except Tuesday) or email Esther at firstname.lastname@example.org (A master file of the weekly intimations is kept at the West door so the members of the congregation who may have been absent can keep themselves up to date with what is happening).
Please remember to let the Pastoral Team know of those in the Parish who are unable to come to church because of age, disability, or who have a special need at any time such as bereavement, illness etc and would appreciate a visit. If you would like to join the team, please speak to the minister or Sandra Mackay.
