In Dalmeny, money given to the church is spent in a variety of different ways, for example:

• meeting the church’s running costs

• the church’s wider mission

• social work and helping others in need.

If you simply wish to make a one-off donation a good way of doing this is to visit the donation page.

This button will take you to the Give.net Donate page where you can make your donation.       Givenet-DONATE-button-SMALL-blue.png

If you wish to give monthly you can fill in a bank standing order form which you can download or I can e-mail it to you or post it to you. You can then hand it to your bank who can transfer the money for you. This has the advantage that you don’t have to deal with cash or remember to make an offering.

If you wish to give weekly… you can also use the standing order form above.

Giving to the church is not simply about “keep things running” but a way in which we can respond to God in thanks for all He has done for us in sending Jesus. The money enables the church to do its job of reaching out to others.

Giving regularly is the best way for church members to support the church since it allows the church to see the income it is likely to receive over the year and work out how that should be spent and what is possible.

It is of great help to us if you Gift Aid your contribution. If you do so, the church is able to claim back from the government 25p for every £1 that you give to the church, thereby increasing the value of your gift by a quarter. In order to gift aid your donation you must be a UK taxpayer (income tax or capital gains tax) and have filled in a gift aid declaration and returned it to our treasurer. I can send you a gift aid declaration form either by e-mail or by post or you can download it.

Thank you for your consideration and ongoing commitment,
